As simple as this recipe is, the quality of the ingredients is REALLY important. And remember, never skimp on the ice cream!
Set vanilla ice cream out to soften. Cook the bacon crisp. Chop it into quarter inch pieces. Mix bacon into the soften vanilla ice cream. Put mixture back into the freezer for four hours.
Next, make french toast batter. Mix the next four ingredients; eggs, vanilla coffee creamer, sugar and orange liqueur. Beat well. Add the bread to the custard you just made. Place soaking bread in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Heat griddle to 350ºF. Fry slices until golden brown, then flip to cook the other side. Set aside to cool.
Assembly: Cut the french toast into one and a half inch squares. Put three on a plate. Add ice cream and maple syrup. Enjoy!
